Analytics Engineer Manager (Nordic Analytics) to TV4/MTV

We are looking for an experienced and inspiring Analytics Engineer Manager to join our Nordic Analytics team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and developing analytics engineering capabilities across TV4 in Sweden and MTV in Finland, ensuring that our data foundations enable high-quality insights, reporting, and decision making across the business.
As Analytics Engineer Manager, you will combine strong technical understanding with leadership. You will work closely with business embedded Analysts, Product & Tech, and Business stakeholders to design scalable data models, modern analytics workflows and world class self-service BI experience for end users that supports both local and Nordic wide needs.
The team
Nordic Analytics is a centralized Analytics team of 24 professionals (Data Analysts, BI Report Builders) responsible for analytics development across TV4 in Sweden and MTV in Finland. We collaborate across both countries with Content, Customer, Marketing, AdSales, News and Product & Tech organizations to maximize Nordic synergies, share best practices, and deliver outstanding business support locally.
In this role, you will manage and lead 4 data analysts and BI builders, two in Sweden and two in Finland, while collaborating closely with business embedded analysts, data engineers, and the Nordic Product & Tech organization. You will play a key role in shaping how data is modeled, governed, and made available for analytics use cases across the organization. Your team is responsible for:
1. Business Layer ownership in Snowflake
Create, maintain, develop, and enforce a Business Layer in Snowflake
Ensure one source of truth for all business metrics
Define and enforce a golden standard for flexible and scalable reporting
2. BI enduser experience & standards
Create, maintain, develop, and enforce outstanding look & feel for BI
Own principles for self-service BI end-user experience
Ensure standardized and high quality BI presentation across the organization
In the role as Analytics Engineer Manager, you will
Lead, coach, and develop a team of four analytics engineers
Own and evolve scalable data models and analytics engineering standards
Ensure high data quality, reliability, and usability for analytics and BI
Drive modern analytics engineering practices and workflows
Collaborate closely with analysts, data engineers, and Product & Tech teams
Prioritize and manage analytics engineering initiatives across the Nordic organization
Act as a key link between business needs and technical data solutions
Have a significant impact on making TV4 and MTV more datadriven organizations

Competence we value
Strong experience in designing, developing, and maintaining reporting and analytics solutions end-to-end
Excellent SQL skills and solid experience in data modeling, cloud data warehouses, and analytics engineering tooling (e.g. Snowflake, dbt, AWS, Azure)
Experience with cloud based BI and reporting tools such as Power BI
Proven ability to define data models, KPIs, and metrics together with business stakeholders
Ability to translate business intent into technical specifications and implement them in practice when needed
Willingness to work close to the business and actively support business development through data
Experience in coaching, training, and enabling analysts and business users in analytics tools and best practices
Handson, proactive, analytical, and solution oriented way of working
Persistence and ownership to drive initiatives from idea to production, including long-term maintainability
Strong collaboration skills across teams, functions, and countries
Relevant university degree in commercial, mathematical, or technical fields
Considered an advantage
5+ years of experience in analytics, data, or analytics engineering roles
Experience in leadership
Experience designing and delivering enterprise scale data and analytics platforms
Exposure to AI, advanced analytics, programming, cloud platforms, or data products
Previous experience from financial services or other regulated industries
Good spoken and written Swedish is an advantage but not a requirement

Practical
The position is a permanent position and begins with a six-month probationary period. Access is by agreement.
